Posted on Sep 29, 2012

Barry's Relatively Speaking shares the personal experiences and stories of genealogists found in the Everton Genealogical Helper Magazine collection on MyGenShare.com. B. Hoffmann shares the following experience.

Vital Statistics From The National Intelligencer (District of Columbia -1828)

Copied by George A. Martin Page 146 "Treadwell, Alexander Philip Secrates Amelius Casar Hannibal Marcellus George Washington, and Miss Caroline Sophia Maria Julianne Wortley Montague Joan of Arc Williams were married at New Orleans (1 Nov.)" Note: The above spelling in the wedding announcement is the way it was printed in the NGSQ. Secrates probably was meant to be Socrates, Casar probably Caesar and Joan of Arc supposedly Jean d' Arc.
