Barry's Relatively Speaking: Family Tree

Posted on Dec 23, 2012

Barry's Relatively Speaking shares the personal experiences and stories of genealogists found in the Everton Genealogical Helper Magazine collection on Arline shares the following experience.

Family is but a budding tree

With branches spreading around us. One leaf falls, a new one grows New generations all around us.

Oh the memories of old

Some not told the hardships And want and loneliness.

Some happiness brought And lovely memories thought As time swiftly flows among us.

Many years go by one by one

Young and old are gone. More buds are sprung.

Winter, spring, summer and fall The leaves change "don't we all" From the branches of our trees Spreading over us.
